Dangerous APPS that your kid needs to avoid

If you have a tablet or a cell of the new generation, you know that your kid play games or use social Medias in it, but you need to know that your kid should avoid some of them, because it can be dangerous. Almost all of these apps are made for teenagers from 12 and beyond.



SNAPCHAT
You probably know this one. In this app, you can take pictures and send it to friends, put in the moment that your friend see it, the picture will be instantly “erased”. However, it is dangerous because you can easily take a screenshot of the picture and send it for other persons.

   YIK YAK
This site has encouraged kids to make cyberbullying. This app it looks like Twitter, but you can post messages anonymously, but it´s just works for users from a certain location.





POOF
This app can hide all the apps that your kid don´t want you to see, in that case, she can be using one of these danger apps and it´s not telling you. Nevertheless, don´t worry, this app it´s not available anymore.








WISPER
In this app, you can send secrets and rumors that your kid heard or knows anonymously. However, other anonymous can see your texts too, making this app dangerous.

FOURSQUARE
In this app, your kid can shows all of her friends their exact location, but you know that someone can get in their social media account and see the exact place they are. This app is dangerous even for grownups.

If you don´t want to your kid to use these apps, you always need to explain them about the risks, and your kid needs to remember this:  EVERYTHING THAT YOU POST AT THE WEB, WILL ALWAYS BE AT THE WEB.

The Threats when using ONLINE VIDEO GAMES

Probably your kids love video games, a thing that your kid but it may be dangerous if not under parental supervision. When your kids are playing online video games, they may think that are safe, because they guess that only other kids are playing too, but is not always like that. It's easy for a evil person  hide amongst the users. In many cases, the evil person  keeps disguised and appears like another kid to harrass them, At the beggining it may seems to be, but then they start making personal questions, like where do they live, what´s their age or even their names, and it makes it easier for the bad guy to find them. You always need to explain your kids the danger of showing his personal info at the web and always showing what it could happen if they do it, specially if they´re very young. And even if they´re a little older, like twelve or fourteen, try not to leave them totally alone at the web.

CYBERBULLYING

Bullying it´s a kind of aggression that happens repetitively, you probably know that. But do you know what´s cyberbullying and how to handle with it? The cyberbullying is almost the same thing that the real bullying, but it happens at the web, so the aggression happens trough the words. Maybe your kid  had suffered with that before, so here I will give you some tips to you and your kid to know how to act:


*Try to avoid fighting it back.
*Always tell what happened to a grown up, he will know how to help you.
*If you still visit the site where the bully offended you, take screenshots and remember the hour that it happened, because that will be a proof that you were not lying.
*If it´s in a social media, immediately block the person.
*Avoid putting your real name and age in your public accounts.
*NEVER be the bully, no one likes to be offended.
*Don´t share passwords with nobody, they will see everything that you post.
*Be careful in what you will post, because EVERYONE will be able to see.
*Don´t send mean messages when you´re angry, cause if you change your mind later, the one who got the message will be able to share that.
*Leave the web, there´s a lot of other things you can do out the web. Go out or play with your friends.

So, if you´re being bullied at the web, try not to get angry, you can pass throug this. Count on your family an your friends, they will help you, because they love you!

The Threats of SOCIAL MEDIAS

  The social Medias are one of the most dangerous places to your kid to get in. When your kid is using a social media (Facebook, Twitter…), they hardly will guess who is talking with them. If they let other people know what they're doing online, it may put themselves in danger. By your kid's profile its possible to know their names or nicknames, their location and, like the city where they live and the street, and even their picture. In the moment that your kid shows his name and his picture, it makes it easier to search for him, because you know how the kid looks like, and if they show their city, it´s even more dangerous, cause that  shows the exact place where your kid lives, turning him into an easy target to evil persons. If you´re a kid, avoid social Medias, because you´re putting yourself in risk. However, if you already have one, you need to be responsible in it. So, don´t talk with no one that you don´t know who is it, and don´t put any personal information online, cause when you post something on the web, anyone can see it!
